    Theory

    The 1927 nm laser primarily targets the lower epidermis and the upper dermis, where pigmentation and skin concerns such as discoloration, wrinkles, and sagging are primarily observed. The 1927 nm thulium laser has a water absorption capacity that is approximately 10 times higher than the erbil laser (1550 nm) and approximately 24 times lower than the CO2 laser. The thulium laser's primary target tissue in the skin is water. By heating water in the dermis, the thulium laser can achieve various therapeutic goals, such as pore tightening, skin tightening and anti-aging, inflammation reduction, and the removal of red blood vessels.

    Application

    1. Reduction of acne scars

    Acne scars are permanent changes in texture and indentations in the skin. Scars typically develop after severe acne. The Thulium 1927 laser can effectively treat mild acne scars by stimulating collagen production, with noticeable results.

    2. Skin tightening

    Just like dull skin, collagen production in our skin decreases over time. This lack of collagen leads to sagging skin. Laser heat activates collagen production in the skin, resulting in overall skin tightening.

    3. Skin lightening and radiance

    Over time, dead skin cells and late nights can cause our skin to become dull. A lack of hydration due to improper skincare routines can lead to the formation of free radicals, which can affect skin health.
